PIKEBU Radar privacy policy
Who we are
PT. Piranti Kecerdasan Buatan ("we") operates PIKEBU Radar, an internal tool for analysing public conversation on social media and in the news about public issues in Indonesia. Contact: admin@pikebudev.web.id.
What we collect
From the Threads account that connects to our app. Only our own collection account connects. We store its Threads user ID, username and the access token Meta issues to our app.
Public Threads posts that match our search keywords, through the Threads API keyword search: the post ID, text, publication time, link, the author's username, the media type, and whether the post is a reply or a quote. We do not collect private profiles, direct messages, follower lists or contact details.
How we use it
- To find posts about the public issues we monitor and group related posts together.
- To classify each post's topic and the sentiment it expresses towards public institutions.
- To show these posts, with links to the originals, to authorised analysts.
- To evaluate and improve our own classification models.
Post text may be processed by AI model providers that act as our service providers, only to classify or summarise it. Every analysis is treated as unverified until a person reviews it.
We do not sell or license Threads data, use it for advertising, try to identify the people behind accounts, or infer sensitive characteristics such as political or religious beliefs, ethnicity or health.
Who can see it
Only authorised users of PIKEBU Radar: our staff and the client analysts we work for, through password-protected accounts on a private network. The data is not published. We disclose it to others only when the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We delete collected Threads posts 12 months after we collect them, together with all analysis derived from them.
Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete your posts and everything we derived from them. See how to request deletion. We also delete data when Meta asks us to.
Changes
We will update the date above when this policy changes.
